By handling returns locally in Sweden instead of hiring external partners abroad, transport distances are shortened, the customer experience is improved and at the same time the environmental impact is minimized.

Vinoteket is Sweden's largest online wine store, with over 350.000 orders per year and a turnover that has increased drastically in recent years. With PostNord TPL as the third-party logistics provider, Vinoteket delivers across Sweden, all year-round. Allan Thorsen, CEO of Vinoteket.com Aps, tells us more about the importance of a close partnership with a strong logistics partner to achieve success together.

At PostNord TPL’s logistics unit Ättekulla 1 in Helsingborg, Nestle Nespresso Nordic is one of the largest customers. The deliveries arrive by train from Switzerland, which are unloaded directly into the logistics facility. Return management has become an increasingly relevant topic in a world of growing online shopping. But how do we handle our returns, and what are our priority areas within return management?

Close to 70 customers in a wide number of segments, over 200 employees and 65,000 square meters spread over five units. This is how PostNord TPL's Finnish TPL operations can be briefly summarized. PostNord TPL has developed a storage and distribution center specifically tailored for handling pharmaceuticals in Norrköping, Region East. In accordance with the numerous requirements applicable to the life sciences industry, such as GDP (Good Distribution Practice) regulations, the internal environment of the facility is carefully controlled to protect the large number of goods handled daily.

At PostNord TPL, we have allocated space for a battery storage system at our Malmölandet logistics unit outside Norrköping. The battery, with a capacity of 2 MW and smart control from the energy service company CheckWatt, will contribute to grid stabilization.

At the end of May, Urbanista moved into our warehouse Väla. It all happened at the speed of light and in just a few days everything was up and running.
